This Privacy and Cookies Notice, together with FGAs Terms of Use, set out the basis on which any personal data FGA collect from you, or that you provide to FGA, will be processed by FGA and the purpose for FGAs collection of it. Data protection
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act), FGA is the data controller of your personal information and is entered in the Information Commissioner’s Register of Data Controllers with registration number ZA514462.
As a data controller, FGA take all necessary steps to comply with its obligations under the Act and its relevant subordinate legislation when handling any personal information.
When FGA process any personal information we meet our legal obligations to you in the way that we deal with that information.
In accordance with the Act, FGA are required to collect personal information fairly and to let you know how we will use it and whether we will pass the information on to anyone else.
FGA will comply with the Principles set out in the Act and we will ensure all personal information supplied to and processed by us is held securely.
You are entitled to see the personal information that FGA hold about you and you may ask FGA to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. Should you wish to see a copy of the personal information FGA hold about you please email info@fulcrumglobaladvisory.com Once FGA is satisfied as to your identity FGA will send to you, within one month, a copy or summary of all the personal information FGA hold about you.
What personal information do we collect and why do we collect it?
FGA may collect and process the following personal information about you through its Website or otherwise when conducting its business;
§ information that you provide by filling in forms on FGAs website. This includes information provided at the time of submitting forms, posting material or requesting further services. FGA may also ask you for information when you report a problem with its website;
- information received in correspondence that you send to FGA;
- information received during certain calls to and from FGA (see Call Recording – below); and
- information concerning your visits to FGAs website (including but not limited to traffic data) and the resources that you access.
FGA may also collect information about you in other ways, for example:
- if you provide FGA representatives or consultants with your business card or other details;
- if you are a client of FGA, from that client relationship;
- if you are a customer of one of FGAs clients, and FGA is providing services on its client’s behalf;
- if you have any other dealings with one or FGAs clients which are related to services which FGA are providing to its client or on its client’s behalf;
- indirectly, through one of FGAs representatives or consultants, a client or a third party; and if you are a supplier of FGA, from that supplier relationship.
The way FGA process your information varies depending on FGAs relationship with you. FGA will use some of the personal information supplied by you to ensure that content from our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer, to keep a record of the services you have subscribed to, to deliver services you may have requested, to notify you about changes to FGA services, to contact you in response to applications made by you, to contact you as part of the services FGA are undertaking on behalf of its clients, to inform you of sector developments that may affect you or to inform you of new products, services or events which FGA think may be of interest to you.
If you have provided FGA with your contact details, FGA may contact you by telephone, post or email. FGA will not contact you for direct marketing purposes if you have indicated that you do not wish FGA to use your personal information for this purpose when FGA collected the information. FGA will not pass on your personal data to third parties in order for them to market to you unless you have expressly agreed that FGA may do so.
FGA will retain your personal information for so long as is reasonably necessary for the uses set out in this Notice. Other than for technical, legal, regulatory and contractual purposes, FGA will retain your personal information for no longer than 2 years. You have the right to contact FGA at any time to ask FGA not to process your personal data for marketing purposes by emailing info@fulcrumglobaladvisory.com
Disclosure of your personal data
FGA will only disclose your personal information to another person or organisation where we:
- need to share the information to provide a product or service you have requested;
- need to send the information to persons or organisations who engage FGA to perform services on their behalf, including where you are that third party’s customer;
- need to send the information to representatives, consultants or organisations that work on FGAs behalf to provide a product or service to you but such persons or organisations may only use this information in order to provide such product or service on FGAs behalf and not for any other purpose. Where such a person or organisation does work on FGAs behalf FGA will ensure that they take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal information; or
- are required to disclose the information in order to comply with the law or the requirements of a regulatory authority.
Call recording
This could include any incoming or outgoing telephone calls that are handled by FGA.
It has become common practice to record some calls due to the growth of business conducted by telephone.
Recording customer conversations allows organisations to assess customer satisfaction, train and develop staff, review call quality, and have access to a verbal record of what is said in the event of a subsequent complaint.
Where we store your personal data
The personal information that FGA collect from you via its website contact forms will be stored on FGAs server, and within the ‘Contact Form Database’ in the secure administration area of the back end of the FGA website.
The personal information that FGA collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by representatives or consultants operating outside the EEA who work for FGA or one of our suppliers. Such personnel may be engaged in, amongst other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal information you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. FGA will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely, only transferred outside the EEA where equivalent protection is assured in accordance with principle 8 of the Data Protection Principles and in accordance with this Notice.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although FGA will take all appropriate measures to protect your personal information FGA cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to its website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once FGA have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Links to other websites
This Notice only extends to FGAs website and does not extend to your use of, provision of information to and collection of information on any website not connected to FGA to which you may link by using any hypertext links within the FGA website.
IP addresses
FGA may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to collect aggregate information for FGA to use. This is statistical data about FGA users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
Consent to Receive Electronic Communications
Without limitation, by registering for FGA services and/or by completing a web form by providing your name, email, postal address, and/or phone number, you hereby expressly consent to receive electronic and other communications from FGA over the short term and periodically, including email communications, regarding FGA services, new product offers, promotions, and other matters.
You may opt out of receiving electronic communications at any time by
(a) following the unsubscribe instructions contained in each communication; or

What are cookies and why do we use them?
